This tangram puzzle is a nice size for children, and the pieces fit together well but not too snug to make it difficult for small hands. It is a nice accompaniment to books like Grandfather Tang's story, or daily imaginative puzzle play.

A bight puzzle that has pieces which fit several places to make different patterns with the color. Hint, I bought for my handicapped son, so I outlined the pieces on t he wooden tray, nowv we can both have fun sorting it out.

This is a great gift for child or potentially even someone with early Alzheimer's (who need to work their mind). It is not easy but is addictive, it has several solutions. We have 7 children ages 2-16 and they have played with it numerous times in month of ownership. Great design and concept.

So great! It goes together a number of ways so it's not insanely impossible to feel good at. The 2 yr old loves to stack the blocks and try to balance them, the 8 yr old finds it just hard enough to be challenging without too hard and even us adults like to take our turns at it. This is a great puzzle. Play alone or with the family. Great just to make shapes and patterns. There is a diagram on the back of the package showing how to arrange the pieces to make different objects. FUN FOR ALL!

This is a good quality wooden toy. I got it for my 8 year old son to enhance his spatial reasoning skills. I was worried it would be too easy for him, but it has actually proved challenging. He loves playing with it and I’ve already seen an inprovement in his ability to solve it more and more quickly. So it seems to be working! Not sure this would challenge adults, older kids, or other 8 year olds who are already good at spatial reasoning/working memory. And I don’t think it will challenge him much longer, but that was our goal anyway!

Each person takes turns placing a piece, and they see if they can "win" as a team by getting the pieces to all fit by the end.) Although the board and pieces were smaller than we expected, it was a great purchase. I highly recommend.

My almost 4 year old loves this puzzle. Most puzzles he Masters and moves on, even the 3D ones, but this one he plays with time and time again. Great buy! Colors are different than shown on the instructions, but that doesn't matter to us. Sheet lasted one day anyway before being shredded somehow.

So put those two things together and I HAD to buy it. Definitely glad I did. The kids love it and my one 8-year-old, especially could be at it for hours. Some of us have gotten so good at it already that we now have "timed" contests to see if we can beat each other's time doing it. Not bad at all and great price!

Very challenging. After I finally solved it, I started setting up different challenges to try. For example, no two pieces of the same color can touch. Or try to have all the black pieces running either vertical or horizonal, without touching.

a good puzzle that is difficult enough to be intriguing, but the key it comes with helps if you get stuck and don't want to try out other ways to finish the puzzle. at first I didn't think you could solve it another way, but my husband and daughter were able to figure out a couple of different ways in a short amount of time.

I know it may not be suitable for a newborn, but the colors are so vibrant that I think it would make a great (non-traditional) baby gift. The colors alone stimulate baby's brain and when they're old enough, the puzzle challenges them--and maybe the parents, too!
