This rc boat was more than I expected to get for the price I paid. It's nice looking and my grandsons already getting a lot of enjoyment playing with it. It's been in the bath tub and the swimming pool. We are going to take our boat to the lake next weekend and this little boat will be in the water to.It has a water circulating cooling system which is suppose to extend the life of the boat. It's self balancing for stable sailing. My son tells me these things are important to have on an rc boat!
It feels like it's made of a durable plastic and will hold up for lots of trips in the pool. It took about 45 minutes to charge and ran closer to 10 minutes. The instruction manual does have special instructions about charging and what to do to extend the life of the motor. I'm glad I read them before we used the boat... you might want to too! One more thing... it comes with a nice stand too!

This is a great boat!! Very fast easy to charge and drive I was surprised how quick This works pretty well with both adults and kids. Be careful of the antenna as it should stand up before running and boat will only work on the water. Otherwise, it won't run. The rechargeable batteries are a big plus

The boat can tour stable in water, and the shell is very sturdy, my son racing with his friends and they crashed into each other a lot, but it still looks nice now. I suggest you to buy extra batteries, it can last about 8-10mins for one charge, that's not enough for kids playing, but thanks for its low battery indicator, we can drive the boat back when the indicator informed. We are satisfied with it!

It's like a warrior when it's in the water. I'll imagine I'm in the boat to control it's direction and speed. It is works on 24Ghz, so we can play two at the same time. Good design.

This boat is a gift for my 12 year old son, and he is having a great time with it. He controlled it around our pool and the lake. The controller distant is super far, we can't even see it sometimes, and the control signal is very strong and sensitive. Pleased for now.

Best remote control boats I've seen. We purchased other brands and returned immediately because they failed so quickly. However, the UDI001 Venoms are so good we've purchased a black, red and orange one so our grandkids who are 4,5 and 8 can all play with one. Their range and battery life is excellent. Highly recommended RC boats if you want something relatively inexpensive for lots of fun. i'd recommend buying some extra batteries and the 3 battery charger too.

This is an updated review. This boat broke when we used it the first time and the company contacted me and immediately offered a refund and replacement! My son loves this boat! It is super fast and has great features. We especially like the fact that it has 2 batteries and it lets you know when you are getting low so you can bring it back in. I can't say enough about this companies customer service, it is top notch!!

I bought one for my step son and one for me. We are having a blast! I'm 62 and he's 38. These boats are super fast and built extremely well. Obviously engineered very well and I can't believe how well priced they are! My pool is 20 by 40 and became obvious these boats were way to high powered for my pool. So, we went to a near-by pond and let them rip. It's like being a little kid again!

A lot of fun in a small package! The many positive reviews of this boat are well earned. The good: The boat is inexpensive, comes with two batteries, easy to run, runs roughly 10 minutes per battery, has terrific range, and it goes really fast! The bad: it leans a little more to one side than the other. This slightly affects the turning, sharper to one side than to the other. Maybe playing a little more with the trim will help correct this? Other than that one very minor issue, this boat is perfect. Note: you will need four AA batteries for the controller.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas along with two additional batteries. It is a lot of fun on our lake. The boat is very quick and extremely hard to tip over. I was worried about the battery life as it only lasts about 8 to 10 minutes, but bought two additional batteries fairly cheaply. A great toy for young and old!

Good toy. Received order quickly, well packaged. Instruction were simple and clear. After battery charging and installation, the craft was put in local lake and played with. It's fast, fun, and easy to operate. Battery life was about 15 minutes, so glad it came with a spare. Also got a large battleship (Bismark) that is fun to play with, but the agility / speed / self-righting attributes of this make it the first "go-to" choice of kids and adults alike. Only regret is not buying 2 or more for racing and jumping each other's wake. Range is good at about 150-ft. No leaks or cracks (yet...)

For those out there skeptical about a battery powered boat, I can't believe you'd be disappointed with this one. It goes quite fast and with the 2 batteries, has a nice drive time. My 11 year old son loves playing with it.

I have very little experience with RC toys so I was a little apprehensive about jumping into it with a boat (actually two boats). My apprehension was unfounded as the process of going from unpacking to racing on the water took just minutes (after the batteries were charged). It couldn't have been easier. My adult children and I enjoyed racing around the pond behind my house. What a great activity for the kids when they come to visit!

Fast easy purchase. Boat is perfect size. Goes fast enough to create its own small wake and turns on a dime allowing the boat to jump the wake. Remote control is very durable and much better quality than other boats we have owned in the past. Battery last approx. 20 min, but it comes with two batteries allowing for 40 minutes of play. Not sure who loves the boat more, 8 yr old son or dad, but definitely a great purchase!

Great boat for the price, arrived in great time, great packaging. Boat will run fast and is easy to maneuver in ponds or pools. Kids as young as 6 played with it. But my 10 year old nephew was a pro. Reverse is a little difficult if you get your boat trapped in some pond reeds but other than that it is excellent. The spare battery comes in handy for extended play.
