This is an amazing toy for toddlers. It has helped my 3 year old with counting concepts and she loves playing with it.
Actin C.
Great concept. My 2.5 yr. old toddler was not ready for it- pieces went everywhere. Will try it again when he is a bit older.
Crystal R.
I received this at a discounted price for my honest reveiw.
Love it. Easy to learn to count. Fun colors lots of pieces. Not for small kids
Marge A.
Great toy for my grandchild. Awesome quality and such a fun way to learn your numbers and color. Love it!!I would definitely recommend this product. I am leaving honest feedback even though I purchased this at a discounted price.
Rebecca E.
This is such an adorable set! The numbers are actually separate- not attached so the kids can match the number to the number of rings they count. I haven't seen other counting stackers like this before. I love that the kids can stack them and count. The colors are vibrant and it is very well made. We love this! I received a discount to purchase this in exchange for my honest review.
Tricia R.
Shipped quickly. It's a Christmas gift so I don't know how much my granddaughter will like it yet. I love how colorful it is and how she will too!

My two year old loves these - and after showing him how to match the colors he is a pro!
Orinde A.
my 2 yrs old with vision impairment loves the colors and counting
Kayt A.
Love it. Really like this most for children around 2-3. My daughter is now 4 and wasnt as super engaged in this toy like she was when she was 2-3. That being said with the tiles that go from 0-9 it added a new challenge that she didnt have when she was younger. Very fun!

I have not used this product yet. I purchased this to teach my grandchild who will be 2 in January. I keep her while her mother and father work. Being that I taught elementary school for 40 years, I thought this would be excellent to teach her before entering school.
Ann N.
This well made, attractive toy is very interesting to my 2.5 year old grandson who is drawn to numbers. He loves it. But when he is tired, he begins to throw the pieces around. So ... very fine toy which benefits a young child most with adult participation.
Jason A.
This was a gift for my not-quite 2 year old granddaughter and from what I observed she was very busy making up her own games using all the numbers and the various colors. Sho loves making incredibly tall structures using the colored disks. The colors are brilliant and very attractive to children. It's made well and is very sturdy. All the edges of the wooden pieces are very smooth too. As she grows the pieces will become more meaningful to her as she begins to learn math. It's an educational toy that will be around here for a long time!

I'm a mom, I am not a teacher. However, i try very hard to provide my son with educational toys, especially those which are montessori inspired. I think this toy could very well be called montessori inspired. My only wish would be that the company make it in one color, as I think all the colors can be a little distracting. My son loves it and as he has already learned colors and numbers from 0-20, I thought it was time to start teaching him quantities and this toy has been perfect for that! Honestly, for the price, I was not expecting the quality I received. I especially love that it has the quantity for zero (most toys don't include the zero). I hope they make a similar one for numbers 10-20. Both my son and I, love it!!!
Nunez A.
LOVE IT! it blew us away, our daughter caught on to the color matching right away (she's two) and i know she'll start associating the symbols (numbers) with the amounts the represent. awesome. coordinated colors are a great idea.
Remo P.
Attractive, sturdy. Haven’t opened it as yet (son is too young for it still) but would be intriguing for him.
Rebeka M.
My two year old played all day long with it and today she did not want me to put it on the shelf. She wants this toy to be on the coffee table all the time accessible to her.
Jessie J.
My daughter loves this toy, we've had it a few months now and she uses it almost daily.
Nun E.
Love this toy! Taught my toddler the concept of numbers almost immediately and she has starting to remember what each number looks like as well. Even when we aren't "counting" the pieces, she loves to play with this and just take all the shapes off and put them back on. She was already passed the age of sorting and had most of the names of these shapes figured out before I bought this, but it would have been great when she was a bit younger too. She is just over two.
Richard W.
Fantastic product. Did not disappoint. There were several reviews that said the 10s category were labelled incorrectly and labeled as Pentagon when it should have been a hexagon. Almost made me not buy it. THEY ARE ALL LABELLED CORRECTLY!
Heidi I.
Love this learning toy so much! We are teaching a second language and I love how universal it is, to still allow us to play in the second language as well!
The quality is great also as far as the colors and wood finish! My only con, is that the #10 stacking blocks are not the pentagon shape the picture painted underneath depicts. It's a hexagon instead. Okay for my 2 year old, but could be confusing.
West L.
Great educational toy that doesn't seem to get old with my 2-yr old. With colors, shapes, counting, numbers, and sorting options this toy provides many different challenges for young ones. The durability of the paint is impressive. My daughter was missing one shape for about 2 weeks. I found it last evening out in her sand box where it had been exposed to sun and rain. The piece did not get damaged at all. Testament to their quality. My daughter does like to still put things in her mouth and the fun colorful small pieces on this toy are no exception yet the toy has stood up to her abuse. Highly recommend this product.
Sabrina F.
He’s isnt 3 yet and knows his shapes and WHY his shape are called what they are. He also know his numbers and in what order they go. I really can’t say enough about the educational bennifits of this toy.
Litera A.
I purchased this set for one of my 4 year old twin grandsons. He absolutely loves them, and sometimes even shares with his brother. The set is very well made, sanded very smoothly, and well painted. It is an excellent, fun way to teach colors, numbers, and shapes. The one thing that could make this set better is to have some kind of carrying/storage case. I will be looking for some type of Rubbermaid container to store it in. Great Purchase. Highly recommend.
Junie F.
My little one loves it!

Katey S.
Loved it and so did all the kids. Fun and lots of opportunity for learning without feeling like a learning toy.
Helen D.
Cannot believe how my two year old great nephew was obsessed with playing with this immediately. He played with it continually the two days I was visiting.
Mica N.
18 month old son is obsessed with this. Great toy at a great price made from all wood and no plastic. Some of the pieces are small so if your kid eats toy pieces, this would not be a good option.
Marvin E.
Good quality toys my toddler loved it.
Jimmy S.
Constructed of wood, the base and the shapes and number tiles are smooth and have no rough edges or burrs that might injure a little one. The finish of each piece is smooth and has no drips or bubbles marring the surface. Colors are bright and appealing. Shapes that are painted in hues of the same color family are positioned adjacent to one another in the sequencing. The numbered tiles cover a picture showing the same number and color of shape that belongs in that position. Printed on the base and under the stacked pieces, the geometric name corresponds to the correct shape that is to be stacked in the position.
Lira W.
It combines recognizing geometric shapes, color differences, number recognition, and associating numbers with the same quantity of items. Sorting and sequencing come into play as the child must separate shapes and place them in the correct position. The stacking shapes are small enough for little hands to manipulate them easily. The oval shaped pieces are the largest, measuring approximately 2 ½” and 1 ¾” at the widest part of the curves.
Manning A.
AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME....this is probably the best stacker/counter educational toy I have ever seen...and I'm a school teacher!!
Melissa & Doug deliver once again. This well-constructed wooden stacker is the best! Here is what you get:
- multiple shapes for your child to sort
- the names of the shapes written on the bottom of each stack
- multiple colors for your child to sort
- numerals represented in number form
- numerals represented in counting form
- everything is color-coded for your child to learn more easily
- removable numbers for your child to practice number order
- Lots of extra "extension" activities listed on the back of the package for you to do with your child
There are a million ways to play with this toy and so far our son (2 years) has played with it for at least an hour every day and that is his go-to toy that he asks to play with on a regular basis! Your kid will love this, especially if they enjoy doing puzzles, sorting, colors, counting, or numbers in general!!! Can't recommend this product enough... would give it 10 stars if I could. LOVE IT!!!!

Molly S.
This keeps my almost two year old entertained for long stretches -- he is constantly finding new ways to play with the pieces.
Church C.
Great color, shape, number sorter. Grandchildren love it.
Sam S.
I paid for this myself, and did NOT receive it for a discount price.
This is an awesome toy. My toddler loves it. I love it too. It "teaches" color, shape, numbers through play, which is the best way to learn.
I actually played with it too and discovered that the 10 pentagons can be arranged side-to-side to form a 10-sided polygon flower.
The colors are standard colors, and fortunately not the bright neon colors shown on one of the Amazon pictures.
Jordan H.
My 2 year old loves this toy
Nikhil M.
My daughter just loves this toy. This is ideal for kids over 1 year. The wood is of very good quality and works good even when babies chew on it.
Shauna W.
Melissa and Doug products rock! Sturdy and able to take a toddler beating.
Rachalle E.
My 18 month old loves this toy, it has so many great features, everything from fine motor skills to helping her learn to count, organize, shapes and colors. Wonderful toy all around.
Melissa D.
Melissa & Doug have been producing quality toys for years. This item is just one more fun learning experience for toddlers. The 18" wooden rack contains, colors, shapes, and numbers. By sorting, stacking, and mixing these movable shapes on the wooden dowels, the child can develop fine motor and math skills. I especially liked the ideas promoted in the six "Extension Activities". For instance, "say each shape name, pointing to the word printed on the board, until the child can say them independently." This activity also encourages early literacy. You can't go wrong with Melissa & Doug!
Chelsea E.
They really didn't leave much out of this stacking toy. First, each number 1 through 10 has its own shape of tile, color and has the same number of tiles as its number. Just right there you can practice colors, shapes, counting, identifying the number, sorting, classifying, even use it as a fun manipulative for basic adding and subtracting. But then there is also a corresponding number tile below each stack which has the number written on the front (e.g. 5) and also written out (e.g. five) on the back of the tile. Under the number tile is also a little picture of the correct shape, color and number of tiles. There are so many ways to use this stacker and so many little games you could come up with to teach many concepts! I think the real beauty of this toy is that it will be a keeper for YEARS!! Toddlers will simply love playing and stacking while learning coordination, pre-schoolers and kindergartners will be ready to learn more math-based concepts from it. The only tricky part is not losing the tiles!!
Vine E.
This is an fun and educational toy for toddlers to preschoolers. This teaches colors, number, shapes, counting, and sorting. The number tiles have the numbers spelled out on the back side for kids who need a little more challenge. The pieces are durable and just the right size for little hands.
My three year old loves this, and I also use it for math manipulatives for our homeschooled five year old.

Our daughter is two years old, and she loves to this learning toy. She likes to stack and she matches each color together. This a wonderful way to introduce numbers, with a nice visual representation. Later on, it could be used for adding and subtracting.

This Melissa and Doug toy is a great toy that holds my 3 year old's interest for a long time! He has a tremendous interest in shapes, numbers and colors. He loves being able to stack all of the shapes. I think this would be great for ages 2-3 years, especially. It is larger than some of the other wooden stackers and adds some interest in being able to flip the tile showing the numerical number and on the reverse side it has the spelling of the number. Underneath that tile shows a drawing of the number of shapes that you are to stack on that row. This will help younger children in organizing the items if they are unsure of the counting for the higher numbers. I really appreciate that this adds additional learning element to a classic stacking toy. We keep it on a shelf when it's not actively being played with to hopefully keep the pieces together.

This is a surprisingly fun toy. I wasn't 100% sure my kids were going to love it, but, wow, they really do. And I'm surprised by how many different ways they've come up with to interact with it. They count ALL the pieces together, and they count the pieces while they are on their individual wooden dowels. They take all the pieces off and then sort them by color and shape. They match the number tiles to the individual stacks. They "teach" each other about counting and which numbers come next. They try to outdo each other and see who can count the highest (way past ten). I mean, it's crazy. They are SO into this toy.
Needless to say, I've been won over. And I love the quality. The shapes are very colorful and easily fit onto their respective dowels. The toy has weight to it, so it feels sturdy and durable. There are a ton of pieces to this thing, so I generally keep everything out of reach until my kids ask to play with it. And then I make sure they clean it all up after, so we can have it read for the next time.
Overall, we are very happy with this counting stacker. My kids play with it every single day, and I feel like they are learning a lot. Another win from Melissa & Doug, in my opinion!
Lavkirk J.
Good quality, but somehow I thought there was a battery operated component involved. That was not the case.
Jerald G.
Same as described, the children have enjoyed playing with it. lots of different ways to use it depending on the age of the children. Some other reviews mentioned about the pegs being separate, which is not good, so I have glued them in. The only disadvantage to this is that it does not refit in the box,....Recommend it.
Joann C.
Very interesting toy, just like the description.
Katie F.
This item is great. There are many learning activities that can be thought using this.

Here is what you get: 10 number tiles and 10 tiles with pictures of objects so you can match them, pegs to put into holes and rings to stack onto the pegs for more counting. This is an excellent teaching toy.
Amber M.
Its fun and educational, my son enjoys counting and sorting these. The pegs are not glued down but you could easily glue them yourself if you're concerned about losing them.
Jun E.
Purchased for a family member with dementia. It's well made, colorful and adaptable to several ways of using the board. Some of the objectives were a little difficult for the family member who had dementia. Had I seen and purchased it sooner it would have been of great help to increase use of numbers, counting, colors, etc.
Mark D.
Although this was a great price, I could really use extra counting circles. In the actual Montessori schools the instructor does these activities hands on with the child, and so they can really keep track of all the little pieces. For me, as a grandmother who purchased this for my grandchildren, the parents of my grandchildren, seem to just let them “free play” and after even one day pieces came up missing and continued to disappear: now look, no tens, hardly enough in the nine peg!
Angie A.
Great Seller and Product. My kids love it!!
Boyz J.
My pre-K son loves this!

Great quality wood puzzles. My daughter love her new puzzles, bring her number all over the house.

I was worried when people said their puzzle came with missing pieces but no missing pieces here! My kids, 2 and 4, love playing with this. It’s a good toy for teaching counting, number recognition, and shapes. It even reinforces colors and color matching as well as hand-eye coordination/fine motor skills. There are all kinds of games you could play using this toy. I’m so glad I bought this!
Hans D.
My son likes this toy sooooo much. My son especially interests in numbers, shapes, colors. The toy is all over it. The best is the circle that can be used to count. The quality of the product is very good. In short, it is very recommended for the puzzle toys.
Eugene O.
Its a very simple n neat puzzle toys for preschoolers. Its compact, with a combination of shapes, counting, n numbers. It provides hours of fun for my young toddler. Its a fair quality for the price, just wish it comes with a small tote or box to collect all the pieces.
