We made the dinosaur. I have two kids 11 and 7 and they loved putting it together. The solar part worked well too! I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

My 4-year old loves this toy! I had to put it together, but he was able to help when I showed him where to put things. And it was so exciting to take it out in the sun and see it work! It does require some concentration to put all the small pieces together, which I enjoyed doing. We haven't figured it out gettinv it to work in ndoors under any kind of lighting, but regardless, we love it. Just bought a second one as a gift for a friend.

Grandson plays with it all the time

MY nephew is 7 years old. Like this tool very very much ...and the tool can walk in the sunshine....very cool...but you should smart enough to sum the separate pills up.
Tracy O.
This toy is an excellent building and learning opportunity for a young child. My 7-year old son loves to assemble and make the different options. I had to help with the preparation work, so this would be perfect for a child 8 years old and up.
Jacky P.
Good staff as expected as I am.

Pretty good bribing robot for a 6yo. I basically put it together, but he helped pop some of the pieces out and clean them up. We've disassembled/reassembled once, which worked fine. It only runs in direct sunlight, although he is enamored enough with it that he plays with it often inside anyway.
Elias N.
neat kit. Make sure you have some small nippers or pliers to clean off the plastic tabs off of the gears. Otherwise they will not engage correctly. You have to set it in direct sunlight for it to start to operate. It is pretty cool because it helps kids to understand how solar energy can be directed to a mechanical object to bring it to life.

This is a fun little robot I did with my kids. It took some time at first cutting the pieces out of the mold (only about 30 minutes) but using finger nail clippers to trim off the little knobs worked well. Good value for the price and it was perfect for my 7 and 9 year old to put together. Good instructions and not too complicated.

It's a hit with my nephew who is very into robotics. I think the next robotics kit will need to be more challenging for him, but this was a great starter for him.

Actually my grandson loved it. As long as it has daylight this little guy will keep walking
Hannah H.
My son got these as part of his engineering project and loved the way it arrived, in pieces, which allows him to set it up piece by piece. He's happy with the purchase.

Albert E.
It is a great product, easy to assemble and very educational.
Matilda G.
My son, 5 yo, enjoyed the project, he helped in the initial assembly and swapped out parts to change it up, the pieces are fragile and break, but well worth the money.
Juliet R.
My husband bought this and he and my son put it together, They made the dinosaur option. It was very cool to see the dino moving in the sun! My son was delighted. He is 5 years old.
Carlos H.
Nephew loved his gift. He got a bit creative with the picture.
Prince C.
Instructions are a bit hard to read but a little help and most kids would be able to put it together. Smaller than you would expect and you have to be careful to cut off the little tabs of plastic (it comes in sheets of parts like a model car). Kids loved it so much they used their own money to order higher end robotics kits.
Micah A.
It is a good toy to teach kid what they can do with solar energy. That is what I like the most about it. Also let they to work a little since there are some small pieces that need to be puted together.
Andrew J.
My 5-year-old wanted a "robot that transforms" and when he saw this one, his heart was set on it. (We told him this wasn't a remote-controlled robot and he was fine with that.) We've had it for a week now, built 3 of the different models and he still loves it, so I've given it 5 stars. He's fascinated how it works off the power of the sunshine.
Bryan S.
Small pieces for a small toy. Adult supervision needed to help my 4 & 6 year old boys build it. When built, it immediately starts working when in sunlight. Kids loved it
Richard W.
A little smaller than expected but still a cool gift for grandson. Great price and fast delivery.
Aicha W.
Not what I expected. I thought it was a DIY for beginners, but it's more for kids who have the hang of the techniques. You will need tools and other pieces to make this and some are not included. Assembling a toy may always be frustrating, but it's very educational and the fun of playing with it comes after. I brought this for my 10 year old kid, because we're a family of geeks and nerds and playing with Legos gets boring for him sometimes. So, he was thrilled to build this and with experienced assistance, it was fun to put it together. The assembling was more fun than playing with it. Being that it's solar powered, you have to wait until it's charged by light. Like anything charging, it's going to take awhile. This robot is so cute when it's powered on and working. He played with the robot for a short time until putting it up so it wouldn't get destroyed. He asked me for more so he could make a miniature team of robots. I have a Dr. Frankenstein on my hands.
Debbie M.
bought this for my grandson birthday. It is not until September I know he will love it he has seen the videos and begs me to buy it everytime.
Judith J.
Grandsons will love this!!
